Old School vs New School

For a while now i've been going through my head as well as having different conversations with friends and others about whether or not  Old School players would have the same or nearly the same impact TODAY as they did THEN. I feel that due to the lack of  talent overall that these players like Wilt Chamberlain faced on a nightly basis that they  were able to have these super extraordinary stat lines. I just don't believe that even as good as Wilt was that he woould be able to avg even half those numbers TODAY  as he did THEN . Especially going against defensive juggernauts on a nightly basis such as Dwight Howard , Tyson Chandler,Deandre Jordan, Serge Ibaka,   and others, and thats not even counting the great defensive big men of the 80's and 90's ( Mutombo,Ewing,Mourning, Olajuwon). I'm not tryna diminish those players or anything , because i feel that the NBA wouldnt be where it is today  without  those players. I'm just saying that as far as talent , athleticism, strength, speed, physical toughness , they couldn't hang.
