KONY 2012 UPDATE
Jason Russell, director of the Invisible Children charity's now-famous video "Kony 2012," has become headline fodder after he stripped naked and ran through the busy streets of San Diego screaming "You're the devil" and other graphic obscenities. He was taken into custody on Thursday. Despite previous reports, he was not arrested and will not be charged.IS THIS WHO YOU PEOPLE GAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND DONATIONS TOO.
Now all over twitter over the past few weeks people have been blindly campaining this ordeal. Celebrities from Rihanna to Diddy and even Justin Bieber have been constantly retweeteing people and urging them to join the cause in making "Joseph Kony" famous. I however just as what seemed to be like few others thought that before I jumped on the bandwagon that I would do research on the matter, and then make up my mind from there. Once you do the research you find that Ugana is actually "NOT" in turmoil. Joseph Kony did do everything that he was accused of doing, but he along with his organization have not been in power since 2006 . Not only that theres been numerous reports from the C.I.A. along with the Ugandan government that Joseph Kony isn't even in Uganda. In fact there has a been a huge uproar from the people of Uganda about the "Stop Kony" campaign .They feel that all of this bad publicity that Uganda is getting is just making them look bad as a nation.. I feel twitter nailed it on the head in referring to us all as "FOLLOWERS" .I feel that people just jump on whatevers "COOL" at the moment instead of shedding light on things that are actually effecting us as a country. For instance rising tuition costs, high unemployment rate , inflation, and the housing market debacle .

March Madness 2012
Yes, its finally that time of year again where you put it all down for your favorite college team. This year i finished my brackets in less thatn 5 minutes.
This is who i predicted to win it ALL...
I feel that indiana has been building up to this moment the last couple years. Yes , i know they have been some terrible ones, but when your a fan i feel that with the success they had this year that they're bound to turn some heads in this years tournament. The play of Verdell Jones will be missed , but i feel that Shehey and Remy Abell will be able to step up. I feel If they run their offense through Watford and Zeller, while having Olaidpo constantly moving without the ball and have those sharp shooters of theirs play off of them, I feel that its a recipe for success. PRIME EXAMPLE OF THAT IS THE GAME VS KENTUCKY, EVEN THOUGH TOWARDS THE END OF THE GAME THEY STARTED TO GO AWAY FROM THE GAME PLAN, THEY WERE STILL ABLE TO PULL IT OUT IN THE END WITH THE CLUTCH PLAY OF CHRISTIAN WATFORD

KONY 2012 CONTROVERSY
A 30-minute YouTube film of Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony has noted close to 37 million views since Monday, but the group behind the video is suddenly on the defensive, forced to explain its motives, financial practices and religious connections.
Invisible Children Inc. said its intention was to "create a cultural tipping point" even as critics took to the Internet to recount their concerns.
"We want to do some epic things because our time on Earth is so short," Jason Russell, an Invisible Children co-founder and filmmaker, told ABC News. "Why not do this? Start here with Kony. Use him as the example of what injustice looks like in the world and then we're going to move to the next one and the next one."
The San Diego-based group uploaded the video "Kony 2012" to bring attention to Kony and the rebel group Lord's Resistance Army, which human rights groups say has ruled over central Africa for years. The video is part of a project that includes an April 20 call for supporters to " black out" their cities with Kony 2012 posters.
I however have my own opinions on the matter , which leave me to be a little skeptical at the moment. I feel that theres more important things going on in our own backyard that need to be addressed . For instance the rising costs in tuition, the federal reserve, along with the alarmingly high unemployment rate. I feel that Africa as a country are more than capable of handling this matter alone. I feel that the attention being brought to the matter is noble ,but i also feel that it has some financial means behind it as well...
If you haven't already check out the short documentary film from the Invisible Children organization about the whole Kony Movement. From there you can gather and make your own decisions on the subject and decide whether or not to take par in the movement.

The American Dream
Growing up as a youth your taught that by going to college you basically ensure your future of being successful. When in fact if you really look at it a degree just as anything else is a tool that can be " Used" to help reach your dreams. i belive people put too much faith in the system and due to that and other reasons its in fact causing its demise. This video above highlights the growing costs of attending college, along with student loan debt, and hyper inflation on interest of said debt.Check this video out even if its for a few minutes just to see at glance of some of the things that are going on around you .
